I have over many years experience in Teaching Taekwon-Do to all ages. The youngest member I have taught was 4 and the oldest was 62, when he began training. My aim is to teach those that want to learn a self defence system that works in all areas of life. This includes the benefits of increased self confidence to easier body movement, as well as the capability to physically defend themselves should the need arise. Children and Adults alike follow the same structured training system as devised by the Founder of Taekwon-Do General Choi. I consider myself lucky to be able to call First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha and Grand Master Paul Cutler my Instructors; without a doubt they have an exceptional strong lineage to the Founder of Taekwon-Do, if not the strongest. The role began as the Marketing Manager for the Technologies arm of the business with the remit to bring clarity to the vision and mission for the brand, increase brand awareness, streamline marketing process and build campaigns to support the sales team. Then COVID-19 struck! The focus became the International arm and with two of us, we developed the International brand and marketing collateral for PPE. including a micro-website and product specification sheets.

I was responsible for setting the strategy for the global partner channel marketing campaigns, then ensuring delivery of the marketing plan across the appropriate channels. I work with dispersed, matrixed teams in local offices around the world to ensure the execution was successful across all regions. I governed all marketing strategy and execution to drive customer retention and attract new business partners. I maintained a close working relationships with key senior stakeholders and together we brought a unified approach between sales and marketing. I held responsibility for measuring the ROI and reporting on a campaign and channel basis in order to maximise the marketing investment.

Insights specialises in learning and development, working in partnership with leading organisations across the world. I was responsible for managing the global marketing campaigns, projects and initiatives to grow and accelerate the sales pipeline to drive revenue specifically for the Partner Channel and Inside Sales Accounts.

My role included bridging the gap between the marketing and sales teams in support of the wider business. I worked to equip our sales teams with the support and content needed to become trusted advisers for our customers and to ensure globally consistent messaging and positioning of the brand and product portfolio. I coordinated with sales and marketing leadership to define sales support initiatives. I enjoyed assisting on sales calls and demos as needed and managing the sales enablement content repository to ensure all the information was easily and readily accessible at point of need.

Vital Hike is a digital marketing agency with a focus on value and maximising their clients ROI. During my time at Vital Hike I worked with the team to identify the most profitable revenue streams and provide clarity and focus for the target markets and product/service portfolio. This increased the margins gained on each project/service and facilitated using the capacity of the team. I spear-headed the smoothing of the customer journey through improved proposal documents and client communications. Using my networking and relationship building skills I increased the visibility of Vital Hike in the immediate geographical target market.

My role here was to prepare and oversee the implementation of a marketing and business development strategy for the employment law team with a view to driving growth and increased revenue in all parts of that team. I evolved the brand of the team and ensured it adhered to the corporate guidelines whilst being representative of the team, both in print and digitally. I created and monitored the teams copy ensuring the tone and content was appropriate, whilst looking for creative solutions to reach prospective clients. I prepared and monitored the team’s budget and worked with external suppliers to ensure we received value for money. I used market segmentation and implemented a marketing CRM system to move buyers along the funnel. I worked with the Employment Law Partners to maximise the impact of our social media marketing and events programme.

To showcase the top 10% of outstanding businesses within Perth & Kinross local community. Providing them with innovative pro-active marketing solutions to allow them to continually flourish and grow. My aim was to help my clients differentiate themselves from their competition through a variety of creative means both on and offline and gain more business. I uniquely offered an array of marketing solutions to suit all businesses and I continued to develop and evolve my methods to support my clients.

I was responsible for maximising membership and commercial income. I spear-headed the development of the brand and digital presence of the chamber. Effective marketing campaigns and management meant a sales conversion rate of 40% for new memberships.

I worked closely with Bray Leino Scotland’s Director to launch the Scottish presence. This involved growing the Learning and Development department to include management of a Bid Writing Executive and maintain our high conversion rate for tenders won. Our next area of focus was to grow the Exhibition and Events department. I was a key member of the team that developed and delivered the Scottish strategy.
