Continuing my work with MasterWord, I've focused on articles, blogs, and interviews with the marketing team as well as editing and auditing the RFP teams documents.

I assist the RFP, contracts and marketing teams at MasterWord with all of their writing needs. Having written, co-authored, and edited many RFP's throughout the last two quarters, our success is rewarding to witness. I have also spent my time compiled cooperative database for the company in order to optimize our RFP, RFI, and RFQ response time.I also work with the marketing team to ghostwrite blog posts, outline reports for relevant sponsors, including the UN, and conduct interviews for social media content. I have also assisted the CEO and guests to prepare for podcast interviews and proofread materials to be distrusted at a wide range of conferences. In total, I have edited 22 of these professional workshops given by our CEO.

I work as a copy editor for the Center for Policy Research at the Lerner Center within the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. I edit public health research briefs to be accessible to a public audience, including simplifying writing and refining data visualizations. Most recently, I completed a brief collection highlighting the opioid epidemic and corresponding policy reccomendations in North America.

I work as a teaching assistant in the Geography and Anthropology departments at Macalester College. In these positions, I grade reports and presentations, lead discussions, provide written feedback, and attend lectures when required. So far, I've held the position of Hilary Chart in his Cultural Anthropology and Ethnographic Interviewing classes, for Bill Moseley in his World Regional Geography class, and for Jesse McClelland in his Geography of Africa: Means of local livelihoods in contextual courses.

I am working with William Moseley on research concerning female rice farmers’ agency in Burkina Faso. I translate interview data, conduct remote interviews, will compile, analyze, and create a metric to establish agency as an essential metric of food security. The final paper resulting from this research will be published in December 2021 or January 2022.

I work with two other co-leaders to schedule practices, coordinate conference logistics, and teach new team members the speech and writing protocol for our model of MUN. At the 2019 National Model UN conference in New York City, I served on the UN Second General Assembly as the delegate from the Kingdom of Bahrain. Our team received the Outstanding Delegation award. I’m excited to return to the conference as Co-Secretary General of Macalester's Model UN team, representing the Republic of Mauritius in the The Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.

I maintained & organized care records according to Macalester policy for 200+ residents over three years and during the COVID19 pandemic. I handled emergency situations related to substance abuse & poisoning, mental health, crises, & physical injuriesAdditionally, I acted as the liaison between Junior RA’s & Resident Hall directors for teams of six to nine RA’s as I progressed through my role and received promotions throughout my time with Macalester Residential Life. I also conducted weekly Professional Development workshops with RA’s. Lastly, I implemented social, educational, & community development events campus-wide following Community Learning Model.

I host 20 office hours per week during which I check out and in essential supplies to students living in dormitories. Additionally, I take relevant residential work calls, manage inventory of supplies necessary for dorm life, and maintain office cleanliness and protocol. I also trained the other staff member for this role, showing them necessary procedure and acting as a line of support during her first few weeks. I respond to health an safety concerns for the 60 students living on campus this summer within the bounds of Macalester's COVID and typical safety protocol.

During my time in Dr. Dan Trudeau's Political Geography of Urban Public Spaces, I conducted a six-week field research project assessing the use and end of public space in the Twin Cities. Specifically, I considered Mattocks Park, a local neighborhood park. My analysis focused on play among adults and children using the OMAI model, developed by Langstraat and Van Melik. The work built upon previous analysis conducted by prior Macalester students and served to argue that public spaces is not ending; however, access to it is being drastically limited, redefined, and (il)legitimized. The final paper was published in the St. Paul Field Guide to Public Spaces run by Macalester College as well as on Streets.mn.

I create and consolidate database of audio reports for future reference. I transcribe audio reports from workers servicing refugee camps in Uganda. I copy edit these reports, which are used to request and redistribute resources and funds for those in the camps. This writing is used to create programs which promote physical, mental, and emotional health for refugees living in camps.

This project focuses on creating a cultural atlas for the city of Chicago seeing as it currently does not have one. I work with this team to collect, process, and present spatial and cultural data. The pieces we produce are meant to inspire and communicate the rich history, culture, and change present in this dynamic city. I use spatial software like ArcGIS as well as online platforms like Photoshop to design unique maps. I conduct research in order to provide necessary context and form a final argument for individual maps and final page layouts.

I managed team of staff to teach safety rules and proper climbing techniques on the ground and on the wall to girls between the ages of 5 and 16, as well as maintaining the climbing wall and equipment and leading hiking trips in the Laurentian Mountains.
