Ski Lift Operator
CurrentAs a lift operator, I assist and provide instructions to all passengers in the safe loading and unloading of Arizona Snowbowl's ski lifts and conveyors, while providing excellent customer service by interacting with all lift passengers. I ensure great customer experience while continually promoting The Freedom to Ski to all guests and personnel.Job Responsibilities:Provide outstanding guest service by assisting and directing guests on and off chairlifts in a safe, professional, and efficient manner.Check all guests boarding the lift for a valid ticket or pass using a scanner.Monitor and assess guests needs by slowing chairlifts down for their safety.Shovel snow, chip ice, sweep chairs, and maintain loading and unloading ramps in a safe and efficient manner.Perform daily lift checks, complete lift logs, and incident reports when needed.Effective communication via Snowbowl protocol including prompt emergency notification to dispatch.Maintain safety and operating guidelines of lifts and lift ramps as per ANSI B77.1 requirements.Assist in emergencies as required. For example: Lift evacuations, avalanche rescue, reporting guest injuries, etc.
