About Zachary Jordan

I am an extremely hard working, motivated individual pursuing a career in production management. In my opinion, production systems can always run more efficiently, therefore I spend my time, daily working to better the production environments in which I am employed. I understand that production departments wouldn't exist without a client and a need. I am strongly focused on initiating and developing personal relationships with all of the clients that walk through my venue doors in hopes that I may be able to accommodate their events yearly as their need progresses. I am passionate about not only sharing my technical knowledge with others, but being open to learn from every client and event of which I am working.I have learned and worked in production environments since 2003. Throughout those times, I have worked in every venue from live music clubs, corporate private event spaces, to houses of worship. Also having been a touring production engineer for several years, I have learned an immense amount regarding the vast array of production equipment currently available and on the market. In my opinion, this hands on experience is priceless in our fast paced corporate events market and in turn has given me the ability to problem solve with great ease and to constantly be thinking "out of the box" when it comes to new, creative ways to facilitate the needs of a client.

Listed skills include Live Events, Pro Tools, Sound, Audio Engineering, and 24 others.

Technical Director

Atlanta, Ga

The main focus of my position is to work diligently with clients and sales managers to assess individual event production needs and to provide the necessary state of the art production equipment to execute and achieve a successful, unforgettable event. I daily correspond with and aid artists and performers in the planning and execution of professional live music events that take place here at our venue. Not every event can be ran by 1 person. For that reason, I frequently hire a highly trained staff of trusted engineers to setup and execute successful private events underneath my supervision.Being a department head, I personally aid upper management in competitively pricing and purchasing equipment upgrades for in-house A/V systems as well as develop future equipment budgets. I work directly with local vendors to acquire the proper equipment as well as work diligently to reach a cost that fits well within our quarterly budget. With having past experience in equipment sales, it gives me confidence in my skill to properly forecast equipment expenses and budgets. One important job requirement is that I regularly catalog and perform maintenance on production equipment in the fields of audio, video, lighting, and computer networkingIn addition to advancing and executing production needs for live events, I also am in charge with media content creation. Using Adobe Photoshop, I create custom graphics and logo loops for display during private events via different video outlets including large format televisions and projection. I also utilize video creation software such as Final Cut and Apple iMovie to create custom video slideshows and DVD content for the promotion of our clients during their private events. Our venue has accommodated artists such as Collective Soul, Bananarama, Keith Harkin of Celtic Thunder, Cody Simpson, and Vince Neil of Motley Crue as well as corporations such as Microsoft, Int'l Myeloma Foundation, and Turner Broadcasting.
