The national federation of the Hungarian Waldorf education movementBesides daily office and general management tasks, I was responsible for the whole Waldorf education movement, which grew into Hungary's largest and most progressive alternative educational system and, proportionally the largest Waldorf network in the world, due to my efforts over the past decade. Key Responsibilities:• Advocacy work• Organizing and conducting regular board meetings, events, and AGMs, executing decisions• Communication (with media, community, local and EU decision-makers, and international organizations)• Preparation for decision-making, budget planning, P&L responsibility, HR, office and project managementMajor Achievements:• Secured a 4 billion HUF increase in subsidies for Waldorf schools• Prevented an 9 billion HUF decrease in subsidies for Waldorf schools • Achieved Hungarian and EU legislation reforms to protect Waldorf pedagogy on multiple occasions• Established a beneficial network with government decision-makers and other NGOs• Launched high-impact programs and organized large-scale events• Successfully managed, and reported grant applications and projects• Obtained 500 million HUF state support to cover increased utility charges of non-state institutions
