Having worked on economic growth and enterprise development for more than ten years for different donor-funded projects, I have decided to become a social entrepreneur myself. I held senior management positions in projects funded by USAID, GEF and UNDP, and SDC. I have focused on market systems development, capacity building, digital financial inclusion, inclusive business and issues related to private sector growth. Right now, I am heading two companies - AIRN and The Right Kind. AIRN provides agro-related training to farmers, community household members and input retailers. It also lends implementation support around agriculture and homestead food production for mostly USAID-funded projects. The Right Kind is a strategic consultancy and implementation agency that aims to support development partners as well as private companies on a wide range of issues that includes capacity building, designing and implementing innovative projects that have high potential of being scalable and sustainable. Besides, I also work as an Independent Consultant for international contractors and NGOs. I also moderate discussions on pertinent development issues with senior public officials and practitioners.
