Zuri Thomas graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2022, with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication and a minor in Arts Leadership and Entrepreneurship. During her time at TCU, Zuri was a part of the student-run public relations and advertising agency, Roxo – where she served as project manager and account executive over the course of two semesters. Zuri worked as a student worker for the Neely's School of Business – Office of Inclusive Excellence, as well as an operations assistant for numerous athletic events. Zuri was also a member of several leadership organizations, including the Chancellor's Leadership Program, Leaders for Life, and the National Association of Black Journalists. After graduating from TCU, Zuri served as a public relations intern and fellow at Fleishmanhillard – where she worked for both the St. Louis and Dallas offices. Zuri recently accepted an offer as the Marketing Assistant at the Fabulous Fox Theatre and also owns her own boutique public relations agency, where she works with various clients.  Furthermore, Zuri is a current member of the Forbes Black community and is an alum of the Aspen Young Leaders Program and Anytown Youth Leadership Institute in St. Louis. Zuri has a passion for addressing disparities in mental health, education inequality, and homelessness. In her free time, Zuri enjoys spending time with family, binge-watching reality TV, and traveling.
