I’ve been a writer, editor, and researcher for much of my professional life, operating at a high level of discernment while focused on finding the most essential message in any communication. There is little I haven’t either written or edited, from books and feature articles (both long- and short-form) to proposals, white papers, research reports, reviews.

I was a key member of a small team launching a new social venture nonprofit dedicated to studying the impact of our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs on the onset, progression, and remission of serious disease. My role was to help brand and position the new entity, manage its communications, and build its network of thought leaders and researchers. Initial.

For nearly eight years I was editorial/communications director at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), part of a team that was seeking to change outdated paradigms in science. I played the role of bridge-builder, translating complex and sometimes controversial research findings and ideas in a way that educated and enriched the broadest possible.
