Sales professional focused on building relationships employing a customer-first mentality and striving to exceed company goals through steadfast work ethic and detail-oriented initiative. Starting in the service industry as a bartender and restaurant manager with 6 years experience, I truly believe that is where my drive and understanding of customer service began. After receiving an undergraduate degree in supply chain management, I spent two years at a medical and pharmaceutical supply company where I gained invaluable experience working with providers and learning the ins and outs of the medical sales world. I believed my ultimate professional goal to be a career with CenturyLink, a local Fortune 500 company, thus my reasoning for pursuing a business degree in supply chain. Accomplishing that goal, I spent two years as an inventory analyst with the company. It did not take long for me to realize my future was not in a cubical. Taking a leap of faith, I moved into sales with my current employer of three years. I have been able to put my vast restaurant and bar experience to use selling spirits and wine with Southern Glazers, as well as tap back into the many skills I gained working for D&H Medical Supply. It has been this experience which opened my eyes to what I am truly passionate about, and that is relationship-based and customer-centered sales. This approach has led me to more success over the last three years in my career than I could have anticipated, including recognition as the state of Louisiana’s top salesman in my division in 2021 (a semi finalist in 2020). As I look forward to the future of my career in sales and what I aim for next, I know where I plan to go from here. Medical sales is an area where all my background expertise will lend itself to my continued success and an area which will allow me to truly make a difference in the lives of patients. It is that fulfillment I am seeking in the next steps of my career and I am confident that I have laid the groundwork upon which to build a lifelong career doing just that.
