As the creator and CEO of Kariba Productions for 23 years, I have had the privilege of exploring and learning every day. My successive expeditions to Southern Africa to discover unknown lands with my father cultivated my pioneering instinct, and the desire to understand the relationship between image and time, movement and emotion.In keeping with these founding experiences, Kariba Productions is named after a unique lake, a veritable inland ocean at the crossroads between Zimbabwe, Zambia and the Zambezi River, where myths, legends, picturesque villages and unprecedented wildlife live side by side. This is where my inspiration came from, precisely where the images for my first film and photo report were shot. Telling a story means conveying a vision and giving meaning.My studies in cinema and documentary at ESEC Paris, followed by my experiences on feature films such as Coline Serreau's "18 ans après" and Ridley Scott's "A Good Year", enabled me to get to grips with the nuts and bolts, the necessary mastery of writing and technique, and encouraged me to set up my own independent structure - Kariba Productions.Being a forerunner means constantly investing in the latest technologies, vectors of new experiences and emotions, and equipping ourselves with the most high-performance filming equipment on the market.Today, the Kariba Productions team carries the genes of this heritage.
