some of My job roles and responsibilities during my work in Ambulance Communication Center as a dispatcher and shift leader were:- Dispatch the nearest Ambulances to the Emergent cases as fast as possible.- follow up and keeping updated with units status and locations.- Sending backup if needed.- Pre-Alert hospitals if required.- making sure if scene safe and informing the responding unit if scene is unsafe to take the required precautions.- training of new employees in Communication Center on call taking and dispatching.- making call audits for evaluating the performance if the team for both call takers and dispatchers to provide feedback needed to improve the quality of care provided.- making fleet reports for Fleet maintenance team.- Coordinating help and backup needed from Police and Civil Defense along with ambulance.
