The Alliance, seeks to build a dementia-capable workforce and system to effectively identify people at risk for or living with dementia, tailor services to meet their needs and those of their caregivers, and ensure they get the right care at the right time. • Work in partnership with federal advisory boards, government leaders, and decision-makers to overcome long-standing payment and care barriers. • Collaborate with leaders across multiple sectors to create solutions to optimize the workforce, build system capacity, and integrate services and support. • Engage policymakers and connect with leading stakeholders to advance recommendations and develop scalable solutions to improve dementia care. • Develop and promote policies that reduce disparities in prevalence and access to services for populations at the highest risk for dementia (e.g., women, non-white individuals).

I have always been one to believe that we must all be treated equally and we must all work on together. Dementia impacts our minorities even more and I believe they may hold the key to the cure if they are given the opportunity to participate in clinical trials.

A diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease is a death sentence, and we must change the laws to reflect what is happening now. Those who have AD should be afforded the right to decide when and how they die, this is the right of people with cancer; they can decide to stop eating and die. Having AD means having a limited time to makes our own decisions. Let us decide, while while we still can, when to die. Give me the right to die with dignity.

CCAL is a non-profit national advocacy and education organization whose mission is to raise awareness about and advocate for the widespread implementation of person-centered living principles, policies, and practices in HCBS supports and services for elders and individuals with disabilities. The vision is to Connect-Communicate-Collaborate by serving as a national convener and facilitator of collaborative efforts that foster and advance the exchange of ideas and issues related to person-centered living among HCBS consumers, families, service and support providers and other stakeholders. CCAL serves as the backbone organization for the DAA (Dementia Action Alliance), a national collective of individuals, organizations and communities across the country partnering together to advance person-centered dementia care and enable people to live fully with dementia.I served as an Advisory Board Member till January 7, 2015.

The Leadership Board directs, informs and shapes the efforts and actions DAA undertakes. The Leadership Team among other DAA partners will work to execute the Board’s decision.

This company has been formed in order to meet the increasing medical need for treatments for disorders of the brain. The E-games are targeted to deliver health benefits, whist being fun, engaging and developed through deep scientific deep knowledge and clinical validation. The ultimate aim of the games is to be 'therapeutic yet fun'.The first game in development is for people with (MCI) Mild Cognitive Impairment and dementia, especially from Alzheimer's, through a focus on a particular domain of memory called episodic memory. HEG will undertake clinical trials to establish that their game has clinical benefits. The game will be developed with the input of people with diagnosed Alzheimer's and the Rotary club.

The creation of the DAA was officially announced November 5, 2013, with these currentpriorities: to increase awareness about the dementia care issues plaguing our country; to invite theengagement and involvement of people living with dementia, their care partners and other advocates through a national network; to inform NAPA Advisory Council members, federal policymakers, and other key stakeholders about the needs and preferences of people living with dementia and those who care about them.

To foster and empower a diverse group of extraordinary people, that will enrich individual lives, and make a difference in the world, through collaboration, discovery, education, and advocacy. We will become the nation’s premiere source as we continuously improve and transform society. I have appeared on numerous media outlets including television and radio, in both the local and national spotlight. I also serve as an advisor to numerous local and national agencies.
