Ying Chen (Lisa) has spent three years working as a salesperson for international exhibitions and conferences and international trade in her country of birth, China. She is currently studying for a Master degree in International Business at the University of Sydney Business School.Ying has extensive experience in international project teams. Prior to entering the exhibition industry, she worked in a local theatre in China for international performance projects, from workshops to marketing campaigns, providing personalised local arrangements for target performance teams. Moving into exhibitions, Ying has advised companies from a wide range of industries on exhibitions and major international conferences, based on the export needs of her clients and providing the most professional follow-up service.Ying's work experience has given her experience with diversity. Firstly international projects have helped her to acquire excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese. Ying has also acquired a third language, Japanese, which has helped her to gain a deeper understanding of the local culture when working on projects in Japan.Now, Ying hopes to become a more well-rounded consultant after her professional studies.
