I led the Xplore Wealth Group, comprised of a highly skilled and specialised team, to provide a complete investment platform. Proudly Xplore Wealth is a leading provider of investment administration. Xplore Wealth has three core offers, specialising in Managed Discretionary Accounts (MDA). Being truly independent Xplore Wealth can assist Financial Advisers in establishing the best possible investment solution for their clients and their business. Xplore Wealth Ltd (ASX: XPL) was established and licensed in 2004 to provide MDAs to the financial planning market. Significant achievement during my time as CEO was upgrading the business by developing and making strong progress executing on our Board approved 3-year strategic plan; “INTEGRATE, GROW & OUTPERFORM”. Key results were;1. Building a quality leadership team and transforming the organisational values and culture. Staff attrition fell from above 40% to 5% 1H FY21;2. The INTEGRATE phase of our 3-year strategy was delivered through our One Platform Program. Recurring cost savings of $2.7m pa achieved;3. Retaining key clients, growing to 40+ Advice AFSL firms with 400+ Independent Financial Advisers;4. Returning Xplore to profitability of $1m 1H FY21. Recurring revenue up 29% from $9.3m 1H FY19 to $12m 1H FY21, driven by FUA growth of $2.82 Bn from $14.38 Bn to $17.20 Bn as at 31 March 2021;5. Improving the operating cashflow and overall financial position of the business with Underlying EBITDA Margin up 27% from 11.8% in 1H FY19 to 15% in 1H FY21;6. Successfully delivering on the Scheme of Arrangement with HUB24 announced on 28 October 2020 and completed on time the selling of 100% of Xplore shares to HUB24 on 2 March 2021; and7. Driving shareholder returns over the period by increasing the share price from 8.2c to 21c or 256%.

I lead 1,200+ Bankers across Queensland who help 1m+ Queenslanders to grow and prosper. We are especially passionate about Small Medium Business (SME) with 130+ SME Business Bankers helping SME’s to grow, to create jobs and together, advance Australia. The 130+ Westpac Branches are lead by a Local Bank Manager who is responsible for the local business - making local decisions with local people. We are currently transforming the way we do business with customers, driven by customers take up of digital and mobile banking to do transactions. With less transactions in Branches there is more time for deeper interactions and as such our new Branch design, BankNow, really allows for this.

I did lead 100+ Relationship Managers in Sydney who each managed a portfolio of 200+ highly affluent customers. This is a high touch, value adding relationship management business. Our goal was to help every customer grow and prosper by ensuring in addition to Banking, they had a tailored financial plan for their future.
