1.2 Diaries - Diaspora Climate Platform ASBL

We’re a platform founded in 2021 by Jennifer Kwao and Krystel Sil Sikana. The idea came about after witnessing the erasure of Global South voices and experiences in the climate space here in Europe. Today, 1.2 Diaries mission is threefold: ✍🏾 document and amplify lived experiences, expertise, and ideas from the frontlines of the climate crisis; 🤝🏾Bridge the gap between diasporic and local communities and facilitate joint action and connection; 🧑🏿🎓train a new generation of climate justice leaders, confident to represent sidelined communities, to take up space in the environmental space and contribute to climate action.
