2nd Opportunity

Founded by a formerly incarcerated individual and a recovering alcoholic, 2nd Opportunity is a team of individuals who were given a second chance in life and want to pay it forward. Armed with the empathy and firsthand knowledge that comes only from lived experience, we provide transformational tools, programs, and support to help those dealing with incarceration, addiction, trauma, loss and more rebound from setbacks and start down a positive new path. The 2nd Opportunity Program consists of 5 courses, in English and Spanish, focused on employment readiness, financial literacy, life skills, and re-entry. We utilize technology, combined with human interaction, to deliver our program. We provide reentry and supportive services to help those seeking to resume their lives with a clear plan to move ahead. We work in jails/prisons, halfway houses, probation/parole, accountability/drug courts, recovery centers, diversion programs, and juvenile justice facilities.
