American Association of Blacks in Energy - Louisiana Chapter

The Greater New Orleans Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and one of eight chapters in the Southwest Region. MISSION Our mission is to provide energy professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and students a pathway to learn and grow within the energy industry through mentoring and educational programs; entrepreneurial outreach; community service initiatives and networking events. OVERVIEW AABE GNO is headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana. The GNO Chapter welcomes professionals and businesses from all energy and energy-related fields (oil, gas, electricity, nuclear, renewable, government, technology, energy services, and hydro) to join our chapter. We believe that each of these disciplines provide our membership and community with a broader knowledge of the varied and unique aspects of the energy industry. Additionally, we encourage college students at accredited institutions who are studying in energy related fields; or planning to pursue careers in the energy industry to participate in AABE. We are seeking active members that can help us achieve our mission within New Orleans and its surrounding communities.
