AABE-NYMAC

AABE-NYMAC is a premier organization dedicated to advancing diversity, leadership, and sustainability in the energy sector. As one of the largest and most influential chapters of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE), AABE-NYMAC plays a pivotal role in supporting AABE’s national mission while driving local initiatives that create pathways for minority professionals and students in the energy industry. Founded in 1987 by minority professionals from Brooklyn Union Gas (now National Grid) and Con Edison, AABE-NYMAC has a legacy of leadership, with several members serving on AABE's National Board of Directors. The chapter offers a variety of programs focused on education, mentoring, community service, and business networking to help develop future leaders and drive innovation in the energy sector. Through collaboration and a commitment to sustainable energy, AABE-NYMAC continues to shape a diverse and equitable future for the industry.
