AABE Chicago Metropolitan Chapter continues the organizational mission to foster the interests of minorities in energy related careers, serve as a network for energy professionals, provide mentoring and career development opportunities, and to increase awareness and discussion of energy industry issues with specific regard to the impact on the minority community. The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is a national association of energy professionals to provide direct input into the deliberations and developments of energy policies, regulations, emerging technologies, and environmental issues.
