AABE Chicago Chapter

AABE Chicago Metropolitan Chapter continues the organizational mission to foster the interests of minorities in energy related careers, serve as a network for energy professionals, provide mentoring and career development opportunities, and to increase awareness and discussion of energy industry issues with specific regard to the impact on the minority community. We provide our members with information, resources and value based programs that include: Professional Development and Career Networking Advancing Energy Policy Education Promoting Entrepreneurial Awareness Fostering Academic Relationships with Colleges & Universities Community Service Outreach Mission: The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is a national association of energy professionals to provide direct input into the deliberations and developments of energy policies, regulations, emerging technologies, and environmental issues. Our mission is carried out through focused initiatives in the following areas: Energy Policy Development Career and Professional Development Information Dissemination Scholarships and Awards Become an AABE Chicago Metropolitan Chapter member to take a step in the right direction to tap into the power of an established community of successful energy professionals, and to add your voice to effect change and influence within the energy industry, regardless of race, as it shows as it shows support of AABE and our mission.
