AAC Connection

Our Mission AAC Connection is dedicated to empowering individuals who use AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication) to become competent communicators. We support caregivers by giving them simple strategies for enhancing the communication of AAC users as well as creating meaningful connections around individuals using AAC. We believe everyone has the right to communicate. What We Do AAC Connection is dedicated to enhancing the lives of struggling communicators in our oral world. We grew out of the challenges faced by caregivers who are thrust into the world of AAC, which is like landing in a foreign place and having to learn a new language. Our focus is on those who cannot use speech effectively to express their needs, thoughts, and ideas. We connect those who use AAC to their caregivers and to the world around them by sharing our innovative strategies and expertise with caregivers, educators, and therapists. Who We Are AAC Connection was created by a speech pathologist and a parent who have years of professional experience and a profound commitment to helping people to find their voice. We bring our expertise, energy, and unique perspectives to build individualized programs and trainings for those supporting and using AAC.
