About Abacus NW Maths Hub

Abacus NW Maths Hub is one of a network of 40 Maths Hubs in England, working together within the Maths Hubs Programme. The programme is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and coordinated by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). Abacus NW Maths Hub was set up in July 2019 and is led by Cardinal Newman College and Our Lady's Catholic High School, two Outstanding institutions based in Preston. We work together to offer a wide range of high quality, funded professional development programmes for maths professionals from Early Years to post 16.
