Turing NW Maths Hub

Turing NW Maths Hub is part of a national collaborative network of 40 Maths Hubs funded by the Department of Education and coordinated by the National Centre of Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). Our lead school is Ashton on Mersey School in Sale, Trafford and our work is delivered by local leaders of maths education from over 50 partner schools and institutions, from across our region. Our Maths Hub name commemorates the legacy of Alan Turing, an English mathematician, computer scientist, logician, cryptanalyst, philosopher and theoretical biologist. We aim to empower local leaders of maths education, teachers and professionals from every educational phase. Our work also has a wider impact, inspiring and motivating learners of all ages, nurturing and developing the mathematicians of tomorrow.
