Founded in 2006, we are a family-owned kama’aina company specializing in providing play-based ABA treatment to children with a diagnosis of autism, other developmental delays and behavioral challenges and their families using framework for teaching language provided by Skinner’s Analysis of Verbal Behavior.
We provide quality evidence-based behavior analytic services to young learners with autism and other related developmental disabilities through implementation of direct services and training of family members and educators. We accomplish this by ensuring that the learner’s progress occurs through the arrangement of teaching environments carefully arranged to produce the maximum results in each individual learner. We utilize the child's motivation: Our teaching is play-based and is child-directed and teacher controlled!
We specialize in working with young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ages 12 months through the teen years. Each child’s treatment program is designed based upon his/her individual needs as determined by assessment. Our goal is to engineer our programming to produce socially significant changes in our learners, so that they can be successful in environments with decreasing levels of support. The terminal aim of every child’s program is to “close the gap” between their current skill level and those of their typically developing peers. Functional and life skills programming are also targeted for acquisition and independence. Challenging behaviors are targeted for reduction and amelioration.
