Our modular construction system allows bespoke houses to be built onsite in five days by using only two unskilled labourers and no lifting or specialised equipment. The target is to allow complete construction to be carried out using simple tools. The key element of the design is the decomposition of a house design into a standard limited set of components which are manufactured on a high capacity factory production line and providing fully scalability to be able to manufacture any number of houses, typically 1000 per month per line using any number of lines. The core challenges of house building have been addressed. The whole build is dry, there are no wet trades required. Wiring and plumbing conduits are built-in so that first fit can be accomplished in record time. No interior or exterior decorating is required. An unlimited number of bespoke designs can be created from standard components. Unskilled labour can carry out assembly and the building can be weatherproof in two days. The exterior look of the house is a "skin" which can tailor the look of the house to match local area styles and builders preferences. Multiple styles of "skin" will be available including timber, brick, stone and render. No bespoke construction process is used and, importantly, any house can be constructed by using the next modules off the line with no waiting time. The modules are fully interchangeable and the design is fully licensable to that any third party can make key components or add-ons as long as they are of a ModHouse™ compliant design. This provides unlimited flexibility and the ability to standardise the quality of the new housing stock. The holy grail of a true production line house with total user style and flexibility in architecture.
