Formula Student (FSAE) is an engineering competition held annually where more than 500 universities participate globally at different locations and Race their open-wheel cars which they design and manufacture in-house. The competition aims to give students experience in project management, real-world engineering skills, and design of heavily loaded components. The Competition has rich backing from Motorsport Legends like Ross Brawn, Pat Symonds, Damon Hill, Paddy Lowe, and James Allison; Making FS a stepping stone to Motorsporting leagues. Comprising of 40 enthusiasts every year, we are India's premier Motorsports team. All our efforts are channelized towards shaping the fastest, lightest, and reliable car. The competition along with Performance and maneuverability also judges us on the design of various sub-assemblies, the cost-analysis and resource planning of more than 1000 components used on the prototype, and the business plan of a hypothetical manufacturing firm of FS race cars.
