AIC is a global investment and management advisory platform for data centres and digital infrastructure.
AIC provides active direct investment and access to venture funding and growth capital in support of “next generation” digital infrastructure programmes in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets worldwide.
Significant investment has been attracted to the digital sector globally reflecting the exponential growth in market demand and enhanced end user experiences. The corresponding expansion in the underlying infrastructure through hyperscale to edge data centres; network connectivity; and power availability, ESG, cybersecurity and optimisation continues to grow in new markets outside the Tier 1 environments of North America and Western Europe.
AIC is focused on these more challenging environments – providing access to investment for local expert management teams and supporting those teams through direct board involvement to achieve high value transactions on performance aligned terms for the operating teams.
AIC is also working with significant private investors seeking off-market prospects in response to customer demand where AIC has evaluated and recommended projects ready to receive capital for rapid, risk optimised deployment.
Both new funders and new project platforms are being engaged by AIC’s well-known founders and Managing Partners Oliver Jones and Jonathan Berney. Projects in markets in Central and South America, the Middle East, South East Asia and Eastern Europe are being progressed.
Jones and Berney are the Co Founders of China-focused Chayora Holdings, which they built through nine funding rounds into a unique infrastructure platform with a range of data centre, telecoms and cloud services licences in the PRC. Both stepped back from full time executive roles with Chayora in Q2 2023 and continue to advise and support Chayora exclusively in China.
