Acfames*

ACFAMES is a public utility organization that works with: people affected by the Mental Disorder of Schizophrenia and their families, fighting to improve the quality of life for all of them. The organization was born in 1999, promoted by the union relatives of people who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. Over the years, however, the organization has been expanding its vision to promote social inclusion, autonomy and empowerment of people with mental health problems. In this way, currently, the organization offers support, services and resources to both families and people affected with a mental disorder, without forgetting a look towards society to raise awareness. ACFAMES' mission is to meet the needs of people affected by severe mental disorders and their families to improve their quality of life and general well-being. The vision We want to be a benchmark Non-profit organization in working with and for people affected by serious mental disorders and their families. Objectives - Support, accompany and promote the recovery of people affected by a mental disorder and their families. - To claim and collaborate to improve health and social care for people suffering from a severe mental disorder. - To raise awarness among society and public and private institutions on aspects that surround mental disorders (stigmatization, rights and duties, isolation)
