Founded in 2012, Adaptive Training Academy (ATA) is a mission-oriented non-profit organization founded and led by a coalition of adaptive athletes, trainers, and physios dedicated to providing high-quality, research-based education and guidance to enable accessible and inclusive fitness training for everyone, regardless of ability.
ATA accomplishes our mission by providing real-world education (certifications) via live seminars and online courses, as well as providing grant funding and guidance to support the creation and operation of adaptive programs in gyms across the world.
ATA prides itself on providing adaptive fitness education that is practical and universally usable and running nationwide programs that are verified as effective long-term, whole health solutions for people with disabilities.
ATA is a not-for-profit organization founded by a Service-Disabled Veteran.
