Adventure Therapy

As a registered charity, Adventure Therapy exists to improve the emotional and physical wellbeing of children, young people and adults with unique health conditions, impairments or limitations, through outdoor and adventure-led activities. This means that we support people with mental health conditions, neurodevelopmental disorders, physical disability, life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses and life changing conditions. We make a positive difference in challenging and complex lives. Our activities strengthen resilience, improve vitality and self-esteem, provide a sense of purpose and accomplishment, help people to form friendships and create special memories for families. We accept private referrals, from a parent, grandparent or guardian and through our professional referral partners, including he NHS, Social Services, private healthcare specialists, other charities, schools or colleges (as part of SEND), councils and community organisations.
