AF Racing Team is a professional motorsports team based in Southern California, and founded by brothers Alejandro and David Fernandez. In the first year, the team began with one driver (Colombian rookie Alejandro Fernandez) and achieved an impressive array of results: Third position in points, Alpinestars Team Development Award, Mechanic of the Year Award, and the Fan Favorite driver of the year in the 2014 season.
AF Racing has been the fastest growing team in the Red Bull Global Rallycross Lites division. In the 2015 season AF Racing doubled its GRC Lites operation to two cars, with Alejandro Fernandez and the first Pakistani in Red Bull Global Rallycross, Nur Ali. In 2016, the team expanded in size from two cars to three. Alejandro Fernandez returned for his third season in GRC Lites, accompanied by rookies Travis PeCoy and Christian Brooks. This expansion established AF Racing as one of the largest teams in GRC Lites.
In this time, AF Racing cars have earned 10 podiums in 33 races, contending for victories every weekend and establishing the team as a powerhouse in GRC Lites competition.
