About Us: Advocacy for Citizen Rights Bangladesh (ACRB) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2015, dedicated to promoting and safeguarding human rights across Bangladesh. Founded by a collective of passionate advocates, legal experts, and community leaders, ACRB strives to ensure that every citizen, regardless of their background, enjoys the rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution of Bangladesh and international human rights conventions. Our Mission: To empower individuals and communities by advocating for their fundamental rights, ensuring justice, and fostering a culture of human dignity and equality throughout Bangladesh. Our Vision: A just and equitable society in Bangladesh where every individual can live with dignity, free from discrimination, oppression, and injustice. Core Objectives: Legal Aid & Support: Provide accessible legal assistance and counseling to victims of human rights violations. Advocacy & Policy Reform: Engage with policymakers to influence and reform laws that impact human rights. Public Awareness: Conduct campaigns, workshops, and seminars to educate the public about their rights and responsibilities. Research & Documentation: Undertake studies to document human rights issues, producing reports that inform stakeholders and the broader community. Community Engagement: Collaborate with grassroots organizations to amplify voices from marginalized communities.
