Out of the Darkness at the University of Michigan is a student organization chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Our goal is to offer support, resources, and community engagement in the issue of suicide. Each year, we hold a fundraising walk to raise money and awareness for suicide prevention. In 2018, we broke the record for the highest fundraising campus walk in America, raising over $100,000.
