Love for a Child is a Michigan 501(c)3 Non-profit organization that focuses direct efforts on foster care children and youth of trauma who have experienced abuse, neglect and abandonment. Our programming consists of camps, mentorship, and specialty resources tailored for each child. Every foster child is given opportunity and experience within the program, by a trauma informed professional who focuses on restoring hope and replacing loss with actions of love. In an industry where foster care children are constant in change, we provide consistency through at home visits monthly, 3 week long camps per year and celebrations of moments that would normally be displaced. The overlooked child becomes our main focus and the hurting are given chances to feel happiness and healing. We believe Kids should be Kids.
