Agbocycle

Agbocycle is a social start-up from Germany that aims to improve the working conditions and reduce the environmental pollution on the world´s largest e-waste dumps by improving the local recycling infrastructure. In 2018, Agbocycle partnered with both a local e-waste recycling company and a Ghanaian businessman to realize the concept of providing a recycling platform that links the people of Agbogbloshie, the largest scrapyard in Ghana, with local businesses and community institutions to establish safe and environmentally friendly e-waste recycling. The partnership led to the foundation of “Electro Recycling Ghana Limited” in 2020, the leading e-waste company in Ghana.
