Ahnee-Duval, Law Firm was incorporated in November 2010 to take over the practice of its founder and Managing Director, Hervé Duval SC, as sole practitioner. The Senior Associates Didier Dodin and Nicolas Henry joined the firm at its inception. The firm’s practice has grown and evolved as the team focused on the needs of the firm’s first corporate clients and their executives who were willing to change their mindset about legal services; from curative to preventive. The firm helps its client anticipate legal issues, access and minimise legal risks. Above all, the team prides itself that the firm’s clients have the comfort that as lawyers they are able and willing to stand in open Court behind whatever advice they tender in boardrooms. The team deals on a daily basis with a wide range of corporate structures ranging from listed companies to one person private companies; Irrespective of the size of the corporation time is invested in constructing a trust based relationship not only with controlling mind(s) of an organisation but also with those who are on the front line in an avowed endeavor to be a one stop shop for the legal needs of the undertaking as a whole. As a consequence, the firm’s main areas of practice reflect the main challenges of its corporate clients in Civil Law; Company Law & Insolvency; Commercial Law; Competition Law (Antitrust); Employment Law; IT Law & Data Protection; Public & Administrative Law; and Tax Law. There are currently 5 barristers in the firm. The wide-ranging legal backgrounds of our team members, encompassing the major systems from where our legislation is inspired (Australia, England and France), allows the firm to offer quality services and interventions in many other areas of our mixed system.
