Tons of ink are still being poured on the threats associated with the non-regulation of AI, while numerous fora, panels, committees and think tanks discuss the ensuing challenges. Safety issues surrounding AI make the headlines and awareness has risen among policy makers, scientists and the public. Yet, national governments and international organizations seem numb. No actionable measures have been taken. We want to start this action. We want to bring the ethical component into the equation. We want to democratize the way AI is designed and implemented in our day-to-day life.
We would like to invite in this action tank scientists that are visionaries and associated with innovation, and all those who understand the need for a fine balance between demonizing AI and laissez-faire, who love beautiful things and things of the mind without being soft.
