AI4DA is a tech non-profit organization, founded in Vienna in 2019, and currently operates throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East. We are proud winners of the Business Excellence Award for "Best Artificial Intelligence (AI) Related Social Enterprise - GCC" & "Tech Non-Profit Organization of the Year - Global". AI4DA was the first organisation to pioneer social awareness among youth and research about AI in the MENA & GCC regions. Unlike other platforms and networks that have been established to promote the use of technology, AI4DA is youth-oriented and focuses on mind blending and skill sharing. The organization works to build resources and create the knowledge necessary to empower communities, in particular young people and girls, to lead this important AI societal change, and prepare themselves for a brighter future. AI4DA’s expert team is currently spread across different countries, working with communities to raise awareness about AI and allow them to take advantage of its opportunities. The Organization was established with two main goals: 1) To help bridge the digital divide for those that are disadvantaged through limited access to the internet, education, knowledge or other obstacles. AI4DA’s main target groups are young people and women. 2) To develop human capital by supporting communities locally and globally in understanding and using AI to their advantage, including understanding its ethical, moral and legal implications. AI4DA’s quest is to promote trustworthy, ethical AI for a social purpose, through projects that impact and empower low and middle-income countries. Our vision is to create A Better Tomorrow in which trust is re-established, opportunities are equally distributed, and young people are empowered for the Future of Work.
