AIChE ITB Student Chapter

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is a non-profit professional institution established in 1908, with the purpose of distinguishing chemical engineers as a profession independent from chemist and mechanical engineers. AIChE represents the collective interest of chemical engineers across the globe in industry, governments and academia. Nowadays, AIChE is the source of providing professional growth opportunities for chemical engineers through academic programs, conferences, and a wide database of educational resources. Student Chapters are part of AIChE’s outreach to students, to ensure that they have skills that are needed in the industry. The Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) Student Chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers was established in 19th August 2012 and is recognized as an International Student Chapter of AIChE. As the first and the only AIChE Student Chapter in Indonesia, AIChE ITB SC hopes that we will empower our members and enables them to have the best foundation to fulfil a career in chemical engineering industry by equipping them with professional skills and connecting them to corporate partners of our exclusive network.
