Aid for Integrated Development (AID)

WHO WE ARE Aid for Integrated Development (AID) is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organization established in 2022 with a vision of fostering holistic and sustainable development across various sectors in Ethiopia. AID focuses on Food Security and Livelihood, Education, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Health and nutrition, Environmental protection, and the protection of vulnerable groups such as children, girls, women, and persons with disabilities. Committed to transforming lives and communities, AID serves as a beacon of hope and a catalyst for positive change. Founded by a group of individuals sharing a common vision for comprehensive development programs in Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa, AID aims to provide integrated solutions to uplift communities. Registered as a local/national organization under the Agency for Civil Society organizations’ proclamation number 1113/2019 with registration number 6818, AID operates in the regions of Ethiopia. Its primary objective is to support disadvantaged individuals and vulnerable groups affected by natural and man-made disasters, such as drought, floods, and conflicts, by addressing their needs and promoting sustainable change. Our Vision AID envisions Ethiopia where equal opportunities and resources are distributed, fostering self-sufficiency and a better quality of life. Our Mission Our mission is to provide assistance and strengthen capacities of the vulnerable communities to bring about sustainable development.
