Community in Action Against Poverty - CAAP

Community in Action Against Poverty (CAAP) is a non-profit organization focusing Humanitarian, development, justice and peace building works, that aims to save lives, strengthening local economies, building resilient communities and promote justice, accountable and democratic governance, , to ensure stable and inclusive Somali region in Somali region and Ethiopia at large. We work in around all areas in Ethiopia, particularly Somali region. We save lives; we fight against poverty ,we help vulnerable people fulfill their potential. CAAP works to support national efforts to ensure the realization of sustainable development goals. CAAP was founded on 2016 by a group of Somali experts in JigJiga, the capital of Somali region in Ethiopia and was registered in the same year through the Somali region General prosecution and Justice Bureau. The organization has been registered and licensed by FDRE charities and Societies Agency on 2018 as an Ethiopian residents charity in accordance with the charities and Societies proclamation No. 621/2009
