AJ&K IT Board was enacted in 2001 by AJ&K legislative assembly to steer ahead the IT initiatives in AJ&K for extending dividends of evolving ICT ecosystem in collaboration with Govt. departments.
AJK IT Board adopted a three-phase strategy focusing on IT mass literacy, e-governance and software development over the years.
AJ&K IT Board has strengthened IT literacy programs, introduced effective digital governance initiatives and promoted IT enabled employability in the growing online IT industry.
IT Board has extended multiple projects under these three sub heads. Alhamdulillah, AJ&K IT Board over the years has delivered to the satisfaction of stakeholders and in the recent years has come up with promising results in materializing vision of digital and progressive Kashmir.
