Ajungem MARI

Ajungem MARI (Growing GREAT) is an educational program for children and youngsters in foster care or underprivileged families, developed by Lindenfeld Association. The program started in June 2014 in Bucharest with 0 funding and now supports over 2000 children and youngsters in Bucharest and 25 counties in Romania, with the help of over 1000 volunteers. The program implements 5 permanent projects and also adapts activities in temporary projects that children need (ex: financial education, photography workshops, health education). The main projects: - weekly sessions for school preparation and creative workshops with over 1400 volunteers - educational outings and trips with volunteers - support for youngsters - vocational counseling, qualification courses and professional orientation visits in companies - supplementary support - psychotherapy, speech therapy, vocational courses and personal development workshops - personal development summer camps
