ASHRAE: Shaping Tomorrow's Built Environment Today Chartered in 1946, Alamo ASHRAE is the industry knowledge and networking leader in the San Antonio, Texas area. Alamo ASHRAE each year hosts monthly meetings, networking events, and opportunities to learn about new and upcoming technologies. Members are encouraged to be a part of a sub-group of ASHRAE including Young Engineers of ASHRAE, Women in ASHRAE, and University Student Branches, such as University of Texas at San Antonio. Founded in 1894, ASHRAE is a global society advancing human well-being through sustainable technology for the built environment. The Society and its members focus on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality and sustainability within the industry.
