ALBATTS - Alliance for Batteries Technology, Training and Skills

The Alliance for Batteries Technology, Training and Skills (ALBATTS) aims to make a major contribution to the electrification of transport and green energy in Europe by bringing together organisations from the demand and supply side of skills/competences, to prepare a blueprint with a European perspective and added value. On the supply side, VET providers/Universities will work together and inform national authorities, aiming in producing curricula and learning outcomes into the national qualification frameworks. Preparing appropriate education and training materials and measures according to their local or horizontal context. On the demand side, enterprises along the batteries for electromobility value chain will cooperate with the demand side, in order to identify and develop the relevant competences required to fulfil their economic activity. The European workforce will be disrupted or highly affected by the change brought about by the transfer to electromobility. There will be a need for new training/ reskilling programmes, adapted to the emerging jobs needs.
