AlgaeFood is a 3-year Interreg Deutschland-Danmark project for approx. 3 million Euros (65% EU-funded) with 5 core partners and a number of associated network partners:

- Peninsula Nature ApS
- Fjord&Bælt
The project's objectives are to:
1) understand how to use regional algae sustainably for nutritional purposes
2) increase awareness and acceptance of tasty algae foods
3) educate and empowering people to cook with algae at home, at work and in schools.
The project will organise a range of events, workshops, webinars, podcasts, classes and site visits until August 2026 to show people that algae are no different from carrots and peas, and that using them in the kitchen is bpth nutritious and delicious!
