ALGENTECH SAS is specialised in synthetic biology in plants cells. We have developed molecular tools for expression of entire biosynthetic pathways in chloroplasts via self-replicating molecules. Our production platform is currently used to produce biopesticides and enzymes for biohydrogen production. In the second technological axis we have developed genome editing tools that greatly facilitate homologous recombination rates: amplification of donor DNA and prevention of non homologous end joining provide optimal conditions for precise genome engineering.
