Aligned seeks to accelerate the roadmap of Ethereum by making proof verification faster and cheaper. Proofs can be verified for 10% of the cost. The Problem Ethereum wasn't originally designed for ZK proofs. Integrating new primitives into Ethereum for evolving proving systems is a slow and challenging process. Aligned Layer will transform Ethereum into a highly efficient and cost-effective platform for SNARK verification. Neutrality We are not in favor of any specific type of SNARK, and we support anyone involved in zero-knowledge technology development or research. Our focus is on supporting the development and research community involved in various proof systems. Mission With Aligned Layer, we are expanding Ethereum's ZK capabilities to include an interesting variety of them in the Ethereum ecosystem. We want to offer the infrastructure for the future of trustless applications using verifiable computation and Ethereum's security.
