My name is Kat Sweeney, MCLC, (she/her), and at All Belong Coaching, I provide ADHD Affirming Services to parents, individual adults, and students. My coaching style is firmly anchored in several core beliefs, most notably if you have ADHD, you are not broken. If your child has ADHD, your family is not broken and does not need to be fixed. I provide heart-led strategies, gentle parenting strategies tips, and individualized and personalized techniques that have been proven to work with ADHD brains and ADHD Families. I have a passion for partnering with parents to help them evolve into the curious and collaborative parent or caregiver their child with ADHD truly needs to thrive. In addition to my commitment to parents and caregivers, I offer support to individual students, young adults, and adults who have ADHD. My mission is to help them shed the cloak of ADHD-related shame, to partner with them to develop the self-identified skills necessary to set and achieve SMART goals, and to offer resources, referrals, tools, and a nurturing community. I draw from a wealth of experience, including my current roles as the Director of Volunteers and Mentorship at Thrive Community, Ambassador for Changing Work Collective, and Board Secretary of the We Exist Coalition of the Finger Lakes, along with my co-hosting duties on the Rainbow Roc Radio Show. My passion and experience comes from over 30 years of involvement in parenting, caregiving, working with LGBTQ, ADHD and other marginalized communities, advocating, educating, and more. My personal and professional experiences offer me a unique way of understanding the ADHD brain, what it needs to succeed, and how to meet people where they are in a safe, healthy, welcoming, comfortable, and supported environment. In my office, we all belong.
