The Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta, also known as Fiji or Phi Gam, was founded on May 1, 1848, at Jefferson College. Phi Gamma Delta exists to promote lifelong friendships, to reaffirm high ethical standards and values, and to foster personal development in the pursuit of excellence. The organization is composed of men who are committed to the values of Friendship, Knowledge, Service, Morality, and Excellence. The Alpha Omega Chapter of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta was founded on September 24, 1966, in Athens, Ohio and rechartered on April 23, 2016. Our Chapter is currently housed at 20 South College Street and is a member of the Interfraternity Council.
