Alta Lodge

Fine food, personal service and a perfect ski-in, ski-out location bring over 70 percent of guests back each winter to Alta Lodge, recognized by Ski Magazine as “Alta’s most august and celebrated accommodations." Alta Lodge is Alta's first ski lodge, hosting skiers since 1940. We are a traditional, historic ski hotel with ski-in, ski-out access at the base of Alta Ski Resort, and only one mile from Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort. Alta Lodge offers fine dining and a classic on-mountain lodging experience. Our Lodging-Dining Package includes hot breakfast and four-course dinner with our lodging rates. Fine dining is a highlight of Alta Lodge. Full wine and beverage service is offered with dinner. We also serve lunch in our dining room -- a gracious and relaxing alternative to the usual on-mountain lunch fare. Our classic ski bar, the Sitzmark Club, is a warm spot to meet friends for a beer or a cocktail apres-ski.
